The Marketing Product Manager serves as the YA’s advocate for ensuring our clients have the best user experiences for the full lifecycle of their promotions. This includes the management, development, and implementation of productized consumer facing solutions including web sites, messaging programs, and social activity that are key to operating YA’s offerings. Additionally, they must ensure our clients have access to integrations that provide flexibility through APIs and other services.

The Marketing Product Manager works closely with the Sales and the Account Development teams to understand the client objectives and deliver solutions that provide a return on their marketing investment. This entails collaborating with various functions of the organization including sales, digital services, operations, finance and legal to develop strategic partnership activities to ensure implementation and execution of the identified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep understanding of YA clients, their consumers, partners, and competitors
  • Act as product owner for YA’s Product Development team
  • Collaborate with User Experience to ensure the user flows deliver the highest ROI for our client’s programs including testing, best practices and design attributes
  • Partner with key stakeholders on new product identification, feasibility, financial viability, strategic fit and internal or external development path
  • Develop business cases for new products and usher them through the entire product launch process
  • Create executable, detailed product requirements
  • Drive project, product, and feature launches with internal and external teams
  • Partner with YA’s sales organization to provide strategic product direction and field support to sales staff on offerings
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and digital and mobile marketing solutions by independent research, collaborating with YA colleagues in sales and other functions, industry media, conferences and other methods
  • Participate in the RFP core key team in proposal development, strategy and final client presentations
  • Develop and present new and existing product training to internal teams

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the following technologies:

  • Proficiency in MS Suite, with emphasis PowerPoint and Excel

Base Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in product management, engagement marketing, product development or user experience and a proven track record of building and launching complex products in a highly integrated environment
  • Experience developing market-leading solutions that grow sales, create efficient operations, and sustainable products
  • Product Management certification a plus
  • Client centric work style approach, preferably in an interactive/consulting agency or in a marketing/advertising environment with Fortune 500 clients
  • Proven ability to manage and execute complex projects in an external client facing, deadline driven environment
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve business issues as a collaborative business partner adept in building cross-functional relationships and manage through influence to drive business results
  • Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts verbally and in writing, and present to all levels of an organization
  • Proven analytical, organizational, project and time management skills that demonstrate the ability to manage projects independently from collecting requirements to delivering final output
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
